A splendid work of art with stained glass windows and ornate details. Annunciation Catholic Church is the Second oldest Catholic Church in Houston: outgrowth of St. Vincent’s Parish, Established in 1839. If you want to visit this cathedral, it is pretty much located across Minute Maid Stadium downtown Houston.

I was fortunate enough to capture this amazing photo of Briscoe Manor during sunset. As you can see Briscoe Manor is such a beautiful place to wed. Gotta love the lens flares as it graced the right side of the building producing such wonderful warm tones.

I think this is Fuyu persimmon. My tree is about 7 feet  tall and has more than 75 fruits on it right now. It used to have more, but with the hard rain couple of weeks ago, some of the fruits have fallen off.  Here in Houston the persimmon tree can live and thrive. Ok, off [...]

This wind chime is a garage find.  It endures 2 hail storms and Ike.
