I was at the Aquarium couple of weeks ago, and I got some great shots of Houston’s skyline. The view of Houston’s skyline from the aquarium was s-p-e-c-t-a-c-u-l-a-r! The different contrasting colors from surrounding buildings were intense. Looking up at these man made wonders, it made me breathless. The weather was kinda damp and chilly. I recalled as a young girl, living near the Ozark Mountain, we had the most beautiful Autumn. Now that I am many States away, i have learned to substitute these beautifully colored high-rises for Fall foliages. So, here is me ‘building peeping’ not ‘leaf peeping’.

Happy Thanksgiving

Her new hair highlights

This was a really fun photo session… or not. It was hot and muggy here in Houston during September, and the heat alone turn my pool into boiling soup. Thao was the buffet for the local skitters. She was visiting from the West Coast…mild climate, and zero humidity. Though she shrugged it off for the sake of capturing that one perfect image of her new hair style/highlights. In the end, we were able to immortalize her new hairdo (yellow, orange, red highlights) with many Canon’s moments. Here are a few pics that i picked out for the blog.
